Congratulations to @BellaverBruna @LabPascoal on receiving Publication of the Year Award in the biofluid biomarkers category from the Alzheimer's Association for this work!

Why many Aβ-positive cognitively unimpaired individuals do not develop downstream tau pathology? Our new study led by @BellaverBruna published in @NatureMedicine shows that looking at reactive astrocytes may help start solving this question. rb.gy/y9qkj

Grateful to @OHBM and our colleagues at Pitt and in South Korea for making this possible especially Sang Joon Son and @carmen_andree

Congratulations to Helmet Karim, PhD, who has received the Organization for Human Brain Mapping 2024 Replication Award! bit.ly/3zIOmUB

Hey #OHBM2024, stop by my poster today (1748) to chat about leveraging a connectomics approach for making simple inference at the network level. The method--higher criticism--is intuitive and, importantly, optimal for sparse and weak effects that we typically observe in MRI data.

Hey #SOBP2024, stop by poster 122 tonight to learn about network markers of relapse/recurrence in late-life depression (or a cool new technique for resting state network analysis)! As always, there will be pretty brain pictures and and overly enthusiastic pointing. @SOBP
