Does anyone have any tips or good sources for how to ground myself to the present? I have a problem of constantly living in the past or in the future, and I struggle to just enjoy the present moment


It's concerning how many people seem to associate exercise as a thing you do just to look a certain way. It doesn't matter how young/old or what size you are, it will always be important to keep your muscles/joints strong, maintain good mobility and have a good oxygen uptake


Understanding doesn't equal acceptance. But oftentimes understanding seems to lead to inaction, which can be seen as acceptance.


What's the point of debating or argumenting with someone if you're just going to belittle or insult the other person when it doesn't go your way?

The term ‘far right’ is a cheap buzz word that dehumanises people with genuine concerns. Rather than solve the problem it radicalises individuals to commit insane reprehensible acts of criminality. Condemn the violence and address the grievances. You can do both. #riots


"Cancel culture" HAS always, DOES, and WILL always exist. Just because a person didn't lose everything or disappear from existence after an uproar, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

If you don't put effort in getting the other person to see things from your POV, then why should they put effort in trying to see things from your POV? If you want the other person to understand you, you might need to rephrase your thoughts and not just expect them to understand


Just because you're not responsible for another person's feelings, it doesn't mean that you shouldn't be mindful about how you word things. It also doesn't mean that you don't need to be respectful or kind.
