Therapy Dog K9 Matt visited Therapy K9 Henry the Wonder Dog and his handler, Chaplain Jeff Kaiser with the Sarpy County SO in Nebraska. We discussed training, toured their nice new facility, and met so many friendly people - most of them had snacks! Matt and Henry had a blast!

Colonel Fulk, along with other members of the DPS, met with the family of Pastor Al Henderson today in Fort Dodge. They presented the family with a DPS yearbook that includes a tribute in memory of Pastor Henderson. His service for our Department will never be forgotten.
We're grateful to the Lincoln Savings Bank team in Des Moines for their generous support of the DPS Therapy K9 program. It's allowed us to obtain necessary equipment and training for Matt. Matt sends a big slobbery kiss and countless tail wags!

It's doggone cold and snowy today. We're tired of winter, so K-9 Matt's dropping in with some sunshine following a recent debrief at a fire station. He also made fast friends on the farm and with new K-9 Cruzer, and he's trying to stay warm off the clock. Have a good day!
