Rube Foster was a baseball pitcher, manager, and owner. He was known as the “father of Black baseball” after founding the Negro National League (NNL) in 1920, the first successful professional league for Black ballplayers. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1981. ⚾️
