Kid and I spent around 2 hours this morning building a Lego house. He just turned 6 and I'm pretty impressed with our little guy and his abilities. And I know most parents feel like that about their kids, but I still appreciate these moments.
First laryngitis of this autumn. Grateful for warm blankets and whenever I don't have to speak - which is hard with a 6-year-old who loves to talk all day.
Ich bin soo müde, dass ich Schüttelfrost habe, und natürlich funktioniert die Heizung wieder nicht. Aber immerhin sind es draußen nicht -5 Grad und Schnee.
Kritk, weil das Kind mit Fahrradanhänger zur Schule gefahren wird. Er ist gerade erst 6 geworden, der Schulweg einfach 6 km lang (also 12 km pro Tag). Fahrradfahren kann er generell. Würden wir ihn mit dem Auto fahren, fänden das alle ganz normal.
Spent time sitting on the balcony with our kid today and then ended up buying shoes for him since the pair we'd ordered didn't fit. Really exhausted now, and ready for some cooler weather.
How tired I am? Just sent myself an email. Then saw the email icon on my phone and wondered who was writing to me at this time of the evening. Surprise - it was me. #tired
Warm September days. Since I'm ill and have to stay home, I intend to sit on the balcony today to soak up some sunshine. Despite being in pain, being able to enjoy some sunshine is definitely positive. #september
On the airplane today: I'm feeling like I'm about to faint (tend to get dizzy easily, espeically on airplanes), kid shouts happily: "Mum, the airplane is waving at everyone with its wing!" 😵😵💫😲

Venetian mosquitoes have found out that tourists are tasty. Very tasty, apparently. Mosquito repellant seems to be a joke to them. But otherwise, we seriously love it and aren't too keen on going back home. #venice

Our boy was hurt by another boy at kindergarten and now has almost the entire arm in a plaster cast and has to miss the rest of his swimming course. Not the best way to end the month.

I can barely speak, husband has a sore throat, and kid is so ill he is asleep during the day.
For two mornings in a row I wore rain trousers on my way to work and it didn't rain. Guess what happened when I didn't wear them on my way home from school? 💦 *hangs clothes up for drying - again*
