We’re been at Macdermid Alpha (formerly HK Wentworth) in Ashby-de-la-Zouch carrying out staff fire training. 🔥 We’re firm believers the first time you use a fire extinguisher shouldn’t be on a real fire. So we love it went companies encourage their staff to get “hands on”.

Perks of the job, servicing at Steeple Grange Light Railway near Wirksworth yesterday and getting a ride on a narrow gauge locomotive. You can visit this charming heritage railway, run entirely by volunteers, every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday between April and September.

A call from a customer this morning requesting a replacement extinguisher🧯He’d used his (recently serviced) 9kg Dry Powder to successfully put out a quad bike fire at his neighbour’s farm.🔥 One of engineers is in the area and dropping a replacement off this lunchtime.
