I believe language popularity is complicated and also not a golden standard. In my opinion, you should never use it as a golden standard for choice, but still!
I wish GPG signing was easier to set up. If I set up my GitHub rulesets to enforce GPG signed commits, then I force my outside contributors to set up GPG and it is not the best experience and I feel like I will scare them away. Anybody else have this feeling?
