People leave bad bosses. Period. When you see a trend of a lot of people leaving/retiring - it’s not because they don’t bleed the company or still have crazy passion for the cause. It’s because their boss sucks & makes it a terrible environment to succeed.
There's a new beer brand that just launched in Southern California called "Girl Beer". While I'm far from it's target audience, I'm fascinated by it being yet another example of the industry's newest trend and business model. It's the subject of my latest on Beer Crunchers.
Interesting via @kbernot at MT Brewers Association; When you look at hot trends in alcohol - the brand is telling the consumer how and when to drink it. Sunday Beer, Pizza Wine, Pool Pack, etc…
Related to the port strike, I've seen the often used number (originally from CNN business) that those ports cover "80% of imported beer, wine, whiskey and scotch and 60% of rum." Didn't ring true to me so I pulled some numbers.

My beerfriend asking me trends that I’m seeing from distribs. Seeing that distribs are not funding supplier big $$$ marketing spends. Like nope not doing it anymore. Figure it out. Working on operational efficiencies and that marketing $$$isn’t part of budget.
