Further evidence that volleyball is the number one team sport for girls in the United States. Growing exponentially every year. Time for all decision makers to take note.
The latest report from the NFHS shows that volleyball is the top team sport for girls in 33 states and is second in 10 other states. Overall, girls volleyball participation is up just under 1% (1,345 players) since the last @NFHS_Org report — after the 2018–19 academic year.

I feel like there's an argument to be made that volleyball has the MOST potential for growth. Name a more popular, faster growing sport that gets less media attention in the US...😒 The question has always been, will you invest in us?

It’s imperative teach boys and young men how to process their emotions before they mentally implode (hurt themselves) or emotionally explode (hurt others)!
Great players have a chip on their shoulder when they compete. They want the best from their teammates so they give their best each day. They simply don’t accept average or mediocre. Great players change the standard as they push, inspire and encourage their teammates.
Why do you practice? This is powerful, and covers every aspect of life!
Shout out to all the dual-sport athletes who kick off football/volleyball this week, have already started, or will start soon. There is a special kind of toughness, balance, dedication, and a huge social benefit that goes a long with playing multiple team sports in high school.
Body language is powerful. Whether you are strong or weak, happy or sad, confident or unsure.. Everyone knows before you say a word.

Advice for Young Coaches: 23) Be able to relate with people. You should be able to sit down with someone from the city, the suburbs, or a rural area and connect at a high level. Study, embrace & appreciate different cultures and upbringings. Coaching = connecting with people.
