The real question is: why are these aggressive policies so disproportionately affecting black homeowners?

🧐

We seriously need to have an honest discussion with SA Banks. How does a person pay for their home for 19 years straight without any problem, then faces financial difficulties for a couple of months then the banks become aggressive and take their home? Why does this happen to…

Men underestimate a silent female. once your girl no longer trips over what you're doing & no longer tries to talk things out, she's done. the silence of a female means she has exhausted herself emotionally trying to get you to listen & you didn't. now she no longer cares !!

a part of me actually wishes I never had to date anyone until my husband , what a waste of time , emotions and also the added trauma you have to heal from.

....a stay at home gf,he will cover everything,if I didn't suffer last time,I won't suffer this time. I feel like people don't even get how much my mental health has improved in the year that I've dated this man. I'm so at peace,I'm happier,it's even showing in my skin....

And he’s never made me feel bad for not making an income. I didn’t have to over compensate for that with household chores. I still have a nanny/helper that he pays for. I just make sure that I do the things that make him feel happy and appreciated.

He would leave his bank card in the car for me and tell me to use it if I needed anything. And that has carried on for years even into our marriage. Whether it’s R100 or R100 000 he will definitely share it with me.

He’s always been generous, even while we were still dating and I was still a law student. Before my dad bought me a car I would drive to campus because he would give me his car - pick me up in the mornings and let me drop him off at work so I can go to school etc.

My husband really invested in my dream bandla. Fully equipped me with everything I would need to get through pupillage - a whole entire year without an income. Angikaze ngiswele. He made sure I look good and had all the resources I needed to make my journey easier.
