So jealous of my cat today, she has no idea what a president is. This is the reward she was given in exchange for giving up her ability to decide when it’s time to eat.

Because of experience I gained at The Red & Black, I'm getting to live my dream of working with professional sports teams and organizations. I couldn't have done it without them. Support student journalists and help them beat Florida! @redandblack givebutter.com/Ol9o5G

.@Report4America brought journalists from every corner of the country to Minneapolis last week for the service program’s 2024 National Gathering. It was an opportunity to connect and learn in a way that can only be done in person. More: bit.ly/4cV956y #RFAGathers24

Hi student journalists! If you're covering protests at your school, please know that the Student Press Law Center has a free legal hotline available to you should you need it.

We are disturbed to see reports of student journalists assaulted or threatened with arrest, as the country relies on them at this historic moment. All of us are better informed when they can work without fear for their personal safety. Full statement: loom.ly/5MX-rgA

Student journalists like ours @redandblack are on the frontlines of these campus protests, and they are risking their safety to bring the world professional news. Their safety cannot be an afterthought. What happened to Daily Bruin staff is unimaginable.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m., four Daily Bruin reporters were walking on campus when they were followed and then assaulted.
