Try everything? This doesn’t require some kind of amazing skullduggery. Senators like Susan Collins will just vote “no”. They already gave X the middle finger with the Thune pick. How many more ways does the Senate have to tell you they don’t care about social media tantrums?
Senator Susan Collins just came out and said that she will not be voting to confirm Matt Gaetz. They’re going to try everything to stop these nominations.
Trump is surely floating Gaetz, so that when he names his real AG, Dems (and Rs) will be so relieved, they'll support a ferocious right-winger they otherwise would have opposed merely for being qualified. RIGHT?
