Honest, Veilguard deserved at least another nomination for the art direction. Weird head/body ratio aside, everything was beautiful, from the models to the environment to the animations. The characters felt alive like never before.

The more I think about it, lack of any kind of meaningful talk of oppressive systems in DATV is very weird considering the setting, the villains, themes of comic books, Tevinter Nights and being kind of a spiritual descendant of DA2 where freedom and oppression were THE themes.
