Last night I spent some time playing with the latest “2024-10” release of the @shopify API. I was able to convert dozens of slow REST calls in our apps into a few very fast GraphQL queries. Impressive stuff!
Buying cheap electronic parts on AliExpress and Temu isn’t always cheap. I got a shipment of components and the chips used are cheap knock offs that don’t work with my code base. Awesome. Also 30 of 50 units don’t power on 😅

I just realized I’ve used my @BambulabGlobal X1 Carbon 3D printer 1338 hours since the end of march! That’s an average on 9.8 hours a day, every day. Only had to perform 30 minutes of maintenance 1x. I can’t recommend this machine enough.
Working on a project and discovered that “trade measurements” for pipes are not the actual measurements. 3/4in conduit is actually .92in outer and .83in inside. Nothing 3/4in about it! Why? Because American measurements!
