So I’ve done a podcast! Still not totally sure anyone will want to listen but would love to hear thoughts if you do... lowlight is saying ‘less’ instead of ‘fewer’ (my dad will never forgive me) but hopefully some highlights too. Thanks so much @dnleslie for having me on!

Listen to the latest episode of #becomingeducated with @JesnickMark We discuss ‘lesson cycles’, why intellectual preparation is so important, Means of Participation, Show Me (TLAC techniques) and Mark explains why teachers are Rockstars! podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/bec…

Due to a late change we are about to advertise for what is arguably the best job in a school. Assistant Head in charge of Teaching and Learning. Are you fanatical about teaching? If so this is for you, get in touch to come and have a look around.

This was such a special way to end term. Forgot how inspiring #JPspeakout always is. @SpeakersTrust and @JPFoundation do an incredible job facilitating it but all credit must go to the speakers - an extraordinary thing to do at that age! Was a pleasure to host

Heard so many inspiring young voices at the #Greenwich Regional Final. Thank you to every young person who shared their speech, @TheJohnRoan for hosting, @CllrDHyland for your motivating words, and all the judges, parents, friends & @JPFoundation for your support and empowerment!

Thanks for being there @richardtutt Was great to see everyone practising so purposefully!

Really enjoyed watching the weekly @TheJohnRoan Deliberate Practice staff session today on @TeachLikeAChamp @Doug_Lemov 'Show Me' using MWBs. Expertly led by @JesnickMark and @Ms_RenaB using 'See It, Name It, Do It' methodology. There was a real positive energy in the room.

Very useful and interesting thread on the ‘master skill’ reading and how to build it in school - one to talk about tomorrow @Ms_RenaB Especially intrigued by these booklets too

We launched our new reading for pleasure programme a month ago. It's been great fun, so I thought I would share some details. So much of this work has been done by a brilliant colleague who pushed and pushed SLT to reform our approach to reading at OASP. THREAD:

This is a must read (@EducEndowFoundn do so much great work!). Especially like the part of developing teacher techniques, although only criticism (@DanHudson84 will agree) is calling practice ‘role play’. Idea of mechanisms, as per @PepsMccrea thread yesterday, a game changer

NEW TODAY: Our latest guidance report, Effective Professional Development, is complete with three evidence-informed recommendations to support schools in selecting, designing and delivering high quality PD. More info: bit.ly/3FmylSV Browse now: bit.ly/308OACX
