Maybe the real winner of election was the friends we made along the way.

Yesterday @DougBurgum recognizing the role of energy policy in swing states at 3:40 or so. Access to energy=prosperity=freedom and that's a truism across states, nations and regions. nbcnews.com/meet-the-press… via @nbcnews

I love it when my worlds collide.

Americans’ #2A liberties do not come with a caveat for a liberal state’s pre-approved list of firearms. Unconstitutional handgun rosters need to go. I joined @SenatorRisch in introducing the Modern Firearms Safety Act to do just that.

Unconstitutional handgun rosters create unnecessary, burdensome requirements for firearm manufacturers while undermining the Second Amendment. The Modern Firearms Safety Act stops Democrats arbitrary handgun catalogs and protects law-abiding gun owners’ right to bear arms.

Permitting reform may not be the most glamorous political topic, but it’s one of the biggest issues we face. @NDAREC co-ops need certainty and efficiency to keep providing reliable, affordable electricity.

There's an article from Nature a few years ago that I think about a lot when it comes to why there's so much over-regulation. People have a strong bias in favor of adding features over removing them to solve a problem. Consider this Lego problem... @scottlincicome @EricBoehm87

I saw a chart comparing household energy costs across the country during Governor Doug Burgum's speech, with (I guess?) people trying to make that point that they don't understand math. And although they clearly made that point, they also implied that #NorthDakota doesn't have…

I was quoted in an article in @EENewsUpdates by @jefftomich about Governor Burgum potentially being President Trump's running mate. I expounded a bit more and liked to his article. linkedin.com/posts/jason-w-…

The Chevron doctrine has plagued Americans for four decades by granting unelected bureaucrats excessive power to determine, and in many cases invent Congressional intent. The courts have been deferring to bureaucrats’ misapplication of the law, rather than enforcing Congressional…

I met with @AsstSecEstenoz today to discuss her nomination as @Interior Deputy Secretary and important issues facing North Dakota. The Department has a real impact on our livelihoods and needs to do better collaborating with our state, energy producers, and landowners.

The Biden administration’s all-out assault on North Dakota @LigniteCouncil deserves an all-out response! I confronted the EPA Administrator yesterday about these illegal rules and ND AG @DrewWrigley is right to go after them in court. reuters.com/sustainability…

“I’ve always been a Republican and a conservative. I have the most extensive background in energy, which is a vital industry for our state.” Great to be Wahpeton earlier this month! wahpetondailynews.com/news_monitor/n…

All we ask is for people like @SenKevinCramer's who is literally a former PSC commissioner and an expert in reliability to be part of the process. We will stand on objective evaluations of reliability and science. This is a Senator doing his job and we appreciate it!

Met with @EPA’s Joe Goffman about their MATS proposal. As written, it would place burdensome compliance costs on North Dakota's lignite producers and stress the electrical grid at a time we can least afford it. I told him @LigniteCouncil’s input must be at the forefront.

On this day, March 8, 1890, a bill passed that established the North Dakota Agricultural College, the forerunner of NDSU. Old Main was NDSU’s first permanent structure, and is a testament to the Bison worldwide throughout the years that proudly call this place home! 🤘🏻🦬

This is easy to understand: Environmental justice is giving people access to affordable, reliable electricity so they can live their lives in clean, sustainable and thriving communities. Actions that make electricity more expensive, less reliable or less sustainable--as would…

.@RepArmstrongND asks where the environmental justice is for North Dakota residents who can't heat their homes because the wind isn't blowing and sun isn't shining.

I had never heard this story before from @SenKevinCramer about how he inspired Rush Limbaugh to talk about energy polices. Another example showing he's among the best there is when it comes to talking energy policy. facebook.com/KFYR550/posts/…
