When you think you could possibly wrap up harvest with a good day tomorrow but a drive belt shreds it's outside rib and takes out the electro magnetic clutch and some wires along with another belt missing a chunk. Harvest is fun so I guess we'll just extend it a little longer

Thanks to @BNSFRailway for closing a farm to market road for crossing repair during harvest. Makes it very handy. Fall harvest is exceptional timing to close off 2 access points to the elevator.

To me, the true Market Beef Champions. Harvested after a live show and judged on carcass qualities, value of retail product, and rate of gain factored in. Barely recognized at all and no attention given at the Sale of Champions. Congratulations to these kids!
I would prefer if the big old oak tree limb and barb wire fence would let me handle the cattle pasture rotation, but apparently it and the cows have an agreement already in place.

Farm stock at the fair. Other than a Reserve Champion No-fit steer, I think we stood last in every class inside the ring. Kids understand what we raise them for and are learning the differences in production animals vs fluff and puffs. We are happy.
County fair beef show today. Kids have cattle from the feedlot and I don't own a pullover windbreaker or any Columbia fishing shirts. We are doomed!
Barn cat crop is rated 100% good/excellent. Things are everywhere.
Of all the dumb things that go on in fair livestock shows, lamb leg shag has to be the absolute dumbest thing going. Just why? It's stupid.
