Playing a UK Footbal Grounds map on GeoGuessr and stumbled across this active crime scene Rothwell, in case you're wondering

Gender inequality is bad for everyone, and parenting seems to me to be one of the most obvious places this manifests. Enjoyed talking to Alex from @dadshiftuk for our #IMD24 series.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL MEN’S DAY EVE! In our first #IMD2024 interview @inspireajen chats to Alex Lloyd-Hunter, co-founder of @dadshiftuk, about perceptions of gender roles, and why the UK’s terrible paternity leave allowance is hurting everyone. bit.ly/3wM9KHC

Been looking forward to this one for a while.

My book, ‘States of Play’, is out now. It is really a modern history of football, and how it has been transformed by three main forces: geopolitics, especially autocratic states; a very western capitalism; the game’s own greed and failures of authority geni.us/StatesOfPlay

Growing up in Bournville I sometimes take the 'model village' for granted but this is lovely. Although slightly disappointed my captaining of the Yellow Team at the 1996 Bournville Juniors Sports Day didn't make the cut for the potted history of the Recreation Ground

New: Words & Images: @Mike_Bayly The historical links to the chocolate company are strong at @CadburyAthFC The beautiful pavilion is worth sticking around for at the welcoming Bournville club. 🍫📸 terraceedition.com/home-haute/swe…

I have just spent an uncomfortable amount of money on tickets to see @TheWiggles but seeing the joy on the face of Jennie (aged 39) will be all worth it

Pre-empting @ThatsSoVillage's most village thing to happen in my cricket game this weekend question. It will be when I retire out to take my turn at the front of the Oasis queue

I like Max Fosh but @TicketmasterUK I'm not sure you've got the bandwith right now to pushing other shows

The ICC need to investigate these Western European pitches. Shouldn't be offering this much assistance to the spinners on Day 1
