Some philosophers who are influenced by Nietzsche generally like to emphasise nihilism and the loss of the possibility of meaning in the traditional sense and forget about this because they are very happy with this situation.
The way I see it Nietzsche is very important because he goes beyond Stirner’s simple but correct rejection of all spooks and endorsement of egoism by understanding that spooks are an inevitability simply because for slaves it is a survival strategy.
