There hasn't actually been a major shift of young people to the right — this election mostly reflects a turnout collapse of young Democratic voters When you account for turnout, Trump in '24 barely got a higher % of youth than when he lost last time

15 million Democratic voters stayed home and nearly all of the pundits offering analysis omit any mention of opposition to genocide as a reason for the loss. After Dems ran as Republicans, they would rather scapegoat trans people and wokeness. Make it make sense.
