Last night's amazing result inspired 11yo C to do some artwork of her hero @court_brosnan18 She then went off to goalie training this evening with a very determined look on her face. I think she's planning to practice saving penalties! @FAIreland #COYGIG #IRLWNT
Cruel that an adult can spend her whole summer reading but not have a library sheet to fill in with stickers to document her progress.
Just out of an indescribable evening of comedy and music from @BillBailey with some natural history and geography thrown in. I haven't laughed so hard in ages, and I'll never hear Smells Like Teen Spirit or Dance of The Sugar Plum Fairy the same way again!
Things seem to have got a little confused on Sky this evening. I'm not sure whether to be disappointed that its the film about Churchill rather than a Sci fi horror about invisible aliens 🤣
The 13yo took over the kitchen and made some lovely minty chocolate squares following @RozanneStevens recipe. They were so lovely I didn't mind helping clean the chaos up afterward!
Flapjacks & shortbread baked at the online class with the lovely @RozanneStevens today were so tasty I couldn't choose between them for my cup of tea. (Despite the missing ingredient in the shortbread & sneak addition of some chocolate chips "she said we could add chocolate Mum")
Sitting beside an @ESBecars charger, waiting to charge my car, but can't because someone has parked a truck blocking the two bays, and turned their mobile off. Plenty of other space available for parking. 🤬
10 mins into #HamiltonFilm decided we needed to get musical crazy 12yo out of bed & restart it with her. parts of the plot went over her head, but the singing and stagecraft didn't. @Lin_Manuel has a new fan & I got 101 questions on exactly HOW it was all put together!

Re-watch of Star Wars films at request of 12yo daughter to help us through lockdown. Tonight was Empire Strikes Back. 12yo mostly wondered when Yoda was training Luke, if @HamillHimself was doing the handstands without help! 8yo sister mostly just said Vader's lines before him!

My MS office subscription has expired and the budget isn't there for renewal at the moment. Don't want something cloud based. I'm guessing LibreOffice is my best option?
V disappointed - yet again when I look for Star Wars clothes for daughters, @Primark only have them in boys section. Girls section Frozen etc. Bought them anyway, but cd there not just be a "themed area"? A hoodie is a hoodie but Kids can be mean about "wearing boys clothes".
