Goddamn! Sometimes I miss stuff like this..

Coalesce performing A Disgust for Details (1997)

Damn, played the hell outta this album. When Del worked at Leopold's in Berkeley, me and my friends would go there and just try to hang out and ask him questions for damn near his entire shift!

LAST DAY to pre-order the official No Need For Alarm anniversary vinyl action figure🚫🚨 hiphoptoyz.com/product/del-6-…

I need someone to explain why they did this to this child's hair #AntiBlackViolence

Seems so goddamn crazy to think both these dudes are GONE! Doesn't seem right

I’m tired of doing this over and over this year…We are losing too many GREAT people/artists way too SOON… #RestInBeats to #Saafir - I can’t believe both him and Chi are no longer here within a few months of each other 😞🙏🕊️

Abby Martin out here having dudes about to RISK IT ALL with these photos.

✨💫✨

That Bullshit youtu.be/7xKkSpna9bA?si… via @YouTube Damn, Saafir passed. The end of this song sums up us Bay negros. @BigWos @_BlackTrash

Damn! Remember being at "Ya Momma's Kitchen" in Rockridge for his release or listening party it's like 30 years ago I don't remember. Bumped the hell outta this tape run into dude from time to time in Tha Bay. So original. RIP Saafir and Mike Dream. @_BlackTrash you might…

RIP Saafir, the saucy nomad, a philosopher of train yards, cracked time & concrete. One of the greatest battlers to ever destroy, a master lyrical technician w/ cadences still too futuristic for modern mathematics to decipher. A Bay legend, inventing rhythms unbound by gravity.

If these guys are the godfathers of Hair Metal, why was their reign so short?

Quiet Riot - Metal Health

As much as I love early Maiden, god damn this is a great record. What other band had a new singer come in and take the group to another level? I can only think of Mike Patton and Faith No More off the top of my head.

This is how white people sound to me when I'm in the "cool" part of town.

In the 1980 movie "Airplane", Barbara Billingsley was handed a script that told her to speak Jive. Not knowing how, she went to lunch with the two black actors in the scene, Al White & Norman Alexander Gibbs. The three of them improvised Jive during the whole scene.

This was the fire line up right here, and this album is fucking fire from beginning to end. Do you agree @dbessner ?

Megadeth. 1991. Rock in Rio. Brazil. While Megadeth fans hold RIP in the highest regard —it’s usually between this & Peace Sells— it’s extraordinary just how wide a reach the album had outside that core fanbase. It’s not exactly ‘easy listening’ — & remember The Onion article? ☢️

Saw these dudes live when a buddy got me Lalapalooza tickets for my birthday in like 2003? They did a cover of 7 Nation Army that was so goddamn good I won't listen to the original.

Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the release of the debut Audioslave album.

1982, a very important year in metal, and this was maybe the best metal album of that year..

𝑰𝑹𝑶𝑵 𝑴𝑨𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑵 ❞𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕❞ (Official Music Video, 1982)

Such an iconic song, can't believe so many labels passed on this! @joanjett is a certified badass!

43 years since the album that changed everything 🖤

Here you go @BenBurgis

Black Sabbath - ‘Never Say Die’ Screw the haters, I love this album! ‘Oh, don't you ever, don't ever say die Never, never, never say die again!!!’

Such a damn good album! The Dio years in Sabbath are very underrated

In November '81 we released 'Mob Rules' which has an interesting story. I don’t know if you have ever seen the John Lennon ‘Imagine’ video where you’ve got the white piano but that’s actually where we wrote the song ‘The Mob Rules’, in that very room. We set the gear up and it…

Damn, this is sad..

Rest in Peace Tony. Thank you for everything you’ve done across all entertainment you truly are a legend.

These Lil Fuckhead tracks are ridiculous. I never thought in my wildest dreams that "Eatin' All Tha Butt" would become a reality. @SatanicHispanic you got a #1 with this one! Listen for y'all selves. #SlutFoThaButt suno.com/song/c76fba32-…

Love this

🧵There are people who when working a 12 hour day, or reprimanding others to respect tradition, or insulting others as lazy, or reveling in their own emotional stoicism--when they do these things, they don't feel white. They feel mexican or chinese. They feel like themselves.
