Further, for the first time this term, my seat-mate presented HB1 without a spreadsheet on budget because they didn’t have time to make one. He had a single sheet of paper. You set out to cause havoc, caused havoc, and are now upset about the havoc you caused.

The better analogy is using this unexpected money to go on a vacation (from reality) when you know you won’t have enough to pay the bills next year… #lalege

Read @rjamesfinn on the governor's push to give teachers a pay raise. His budget chief Jay Dardenne said the house plan is like paying off a mortgage before fixing holes in the roof. nola.com/news/politics/… #lalege #lagov

When the Louisiana Outdoors Forever Program passed the state legislature, it was a huge win for conservation in the Bayou State. Don't just take our word for it, read an op-ed by the bill's sponsor, @JZeeRep in @HoumaToday to learn more! #DuckPolicy houmatoday.com/story/opinion/…

Good news that ⁦@LouisianaGov⁩ signed this bill from ⁦@JZeeRep⁩ setting revenue-sharing framework for offshore wind. Like oil & gas, wind will make important contributions to our state treasury and coastal restoration efforts. 💨💸💸 nola.com/news/environme…

The Senate moves on to a @JZeeRep bill that would expand the lease size for offshore #windenergy farms. @sharonhewitt has added an amendment that would require a decommissioning plan for these wind structures. The amended bill is approved w/o objection and goes back to the house

Wind Energy will provide great opportunities for our oil and gas service companies and our fisheries.

We love offshore wind - and apparently fish do too! Local Rhode Island fisherman and scientists designed the 1st study of offshore wind impacts on adjacent fisheries. The results? Some fish species were more abundant following turbine install. Details: ow.ly/aVab50JiQUt

Agreed. There are a # of us who have bills advocating for better mental health in Louisiana. (@RoyceDuplessis @beaubeaullieu) . This advocacy also includes funding requests. One was an appropriation to Communities in Schools for mental health services. Thankful to @JZeeRep!
