The state priority deadline helps fin aid admin prioritize funding for students applying on time, & early applications to maximize chances of getting aid. The deadline doesn't guarantee funding, nor does applying after the deadline disqualify students from being considered.
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) has extended the state financial aid priority deadline to February 15, 2025. This extension provides students with additional time to complete their applications.

🕰Cougars🕰 The JHS Freshman Seminar and schedule pick up are now on Thursday, August 8th, instead of August 9th. The time has stayed the same. Freshman seminar is still from 9 to 11 a.m. Schedule pick up is 4:30 - 6:00 pm.
Common App and Apply Texas are open! If you have questions, email and be sure to add your counselor!
