Been seeking a new church the past few months, I’ve tried the 4 Reformed churches in my area that are in reasonable driving distance. 3 Reformed Baptist and 1 OPC. I’m a Baptist but so far both my wife and I are leaning towards the OPC 😬🤣

I am very grateful for the protections of biblical ecclesiology and accountability within my 1689 church. In the past two years I have seen that no plurality of elders is a massive red flag. It should go without saying that elders are all equal, and are church members.
The Steve Lawson situation is possibly the most accurate example of what most Baptist ecclesiology is functionally. - lead “preacher” - no pastoral authority (over the congregation or pastor) - a board of elders who have no functional authority Ecclesiology is important.
There are only a few people I trust less than those who say Carbs are Bad for you. Those few include, KJV Onlyists, and those who Pronounce the “T” in Apostles.
The downfall of all societies is the rejection of The Biblical Worldview. America has rejected The Biblical Worldview.
