We opposed Government excesses, but no one listened. The Times of London exposed egregious scale of unexplained wealth within the ruling class. The ridiculous response is-no documentary proof! Sometimes a drum beat from another village is louder, clearer than that in your village
Economic mismanagement is the silent force behind the hardship in our homes, the despair in our markets, and the frustration in the hearts of our youth. Today, our people suffer through reckless spending, unplanned borrowing, wasteful foreign travels and poor financial leadership
Den ravage the economy, den say we nor for tok! Den dock blackout pa we, den say na sabotage! The kontri calabash money emptied, den say na the Ukraine war! Wae we sneeze den say we na “unprogressives”! How ba na cut nose debul boss na town🤷🏽♂️
A country besieged with bad news, suggesting an albatross (bird of ill omen) hangs over our nation’s neck. Energy crisis, border dispute, public health challenge, weak investment climate, and dismissal of 1000 mine workers in one blow. Government sleepwalks while the nation wails

Yenga border dispute has been with us for years. In 2005, Sierra Leone and Guinea signed an agreement confirming Yenga, a tiny town on the banks of the Makona River, belonged to Sierra Leone. We urge MRU for an urgent meeting of Foreign Ministers and call to demilitarize the zone

A post from Waheed Awonuga, on “Mpox is real” caught my roving eyes. Agreeably, public awareness is less. Our experience with Ebola, should place our health authorities at a higher pedestal of patient safety and information. Back to our basic hygiene practices. Mpox is real.

On this Labour Day, we honour the tireless workers, who carry the weight of our nation, often without recognition. Sierra Leone, cannot rise on broken promises and neglected labour. Salaries and workmen’s compensation, negligible. Time for leadership that values its workforce.
Today is Sierra Leone’s Independence Anniversary. A moment to reflect on where we’ve come from and where we are heading . Without gainsay, our past is troubled and our present , distressing. Food shortage, Energy crisis, weak economy, bad governance, best describe our plight
Today is our 19th Wedding Anniversary. We give thanks to the Lord for his grace. We trod through trying times and challenges, but we stuck together. It has never been how well we danced under the rain, but how well we weathered the storm.🙏🙏🙏

It is with deep sadness that we received news of the death of Pope Francis. I was privileged to meeting with him, and it was a lifetime experience. His company exudes wisdom and warmth. I remain grateful for his prayers for our country and myself. May his soul rest in peace.

Today, attended the Good Friday Ecumenical Service, in Makeni, and read the Scripture Lesson, with theme, “The Unwavering Love of Christ” The Most Rev. John Koroma delivered a touching sermon on the importance of Christ’s love for us and the horizontal love for one another 🙏🙏🙏

Under the APC 11 year rule, Sierra Leone was ranked as the 2nd fastest growing economy in Africa, we were happy, loving and caring. Under the SLPP government, we’re ranked as the least happy nation in Africa. We are hungry, angry, bitter and in darkness. I’m proud to be APC

Old Wharf visit reawakened the reality of abject poverty. I listened to leaders of different groups in lamentation. Basic amenities such as food, water, and light, are luxuries they cannot afford. I can relate, growing up on the fringes of the Kroo bay slums. Lifting up, I offer.

Yesterday was thrilling and the qutbah inspiring, as I joined our muslim community for Juma prayers at the Old Wharf Central Mosque, Wellington, during this Holy and blessed month of Ramadan. Allah is great🙏🙏🙏

The Lawyers Society inaugural Annual General Meeting. Well organized, peaceful and resourceful! The Bar is reclaimed. The Wheels of Change have started to roll 🙏😂

Our country is covered under a canopy of darkness. We grope in the dark to bathe, drive through pitched darkness, and alas, to work, in the dark. They promised us light, but delivered a blanket of darkness. They promised bread and butter, but delivered skeletons and bones.
I AM BACK IN THE RACE. IN GOD WE BELIEVE THAT TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN FOR SIERRA LEONE!

The Counter Terrorism Bill, 2024 has been re-submitted to Legislative Committee for further review. There is no adequate publicity and one wonders what’s the true legislative intent? The opposition being labeled as Terrorists, seems to be the primary target of this obnoxious Bill
Spewed language of David Sengeh is unfortunate, especially when #PresidentBio is at pains to unify the country. It embarrasses a Govt steeped in failure. We now experience a worsened economy. While APC’s Agenda for Change & Prosperity are chronicled as a testament of Progressives
#Kamala Harris has certified Donald Trump’s election victory. Barely 4yrs ago, Trump advised Vice President Mike Pence, not to certify Biden’s victory. The Capitol riots ensued. We no longer know what is right or wrong in the American democracy. Worried for the African template
