Cary's @slladeau, @Foggykak, & @JBrentrup were coauthors on a new study exploring uncertainty analyses in ecological forecasting. ID'ing sources of uncertainty in algal bloom predictions can improve freshwater management. @ESA_org @GLEONetwork @NSF pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35343013/

This was an awesome collaboration stemming from EcoDAS! It was published online last summer; glad to see it's now in this special @aslo_org L&O issue on nonlinear dynamics in aquatic ecosystems! @DrChaoborus @hexageniid @JBrentrup @limnoliver @AJReisinger

Good day! Paper accepted w/ minor revisions! (Well, minor in comparison to the revision-rejection roller coaster its been over the last two years!) Can't wait to share w/ the world the climate & wildfire impacts (or lackthereof) on phosphorus in #ClearLake in #lakecountyCA.

Great article by @harini_barath on our study @dartmouth! Thanks to @KathyCottingham, Alex Conway, Kennedy Lange, and Liz Rightmire for all of the help and support and @ShelleyArnott and @WDHintz for leading the project!

Our new paper @PNASNews is out! Major ecological change can occur below water quality guidelines designed to protect lakes from salt pollution. Was great leading this effort with @ShelleyArnott and many other scientists around North America and Europe. pnas.org/content/119/9/…

Impressive group effort by >40 scientists across NA & EU.. Along w this paper in @PNASNews, our parallel study (doi.org/10.1002/lol2.1…) in LO-L @aslo_org showed that many fw crustacean species are sensitive to Cl + declines in sp and trait diversity can occur below guidelines.
