#Basic_Course_on_HTGR #HTTR all mechanisms explained. 1st reactor pressure vessel. The HTTR pressure vessel is made of 2-1/4Cr-Mn steel with Cr added to strengthen the vessel in the creep region. The design temperature is 440°C, and that is cooled by inlet helium gas of 400°C.
