A double feature with our cat Link! He loves cuddles and has a talent for perching on my shoulder like a living fur stole, even though he’s an old man! I just hate the part where he digs his claws into my arm for stability.
Made some more progress on the tree! I’ve been starting with the “focus” characters if you will and then filling out the rest of the roster. So now Fran and Klaus actually have identifiable siblings that aren’t John/Jane Does.
Family tree shenanigans! It’s a good exercise in character design to restrict yourself to a single family lineage and the genetics within!

I finished up my last day at my grocery store job, which means I’ve got a new adventure ahead! That place took me in at a low point in my life, and I’ll forever be grateful to them, but it’s time to move on to bigger and better things!
I have a virtual machine set up on my PC with Windows XP, which I plan to craft into a little nostalgia playground for myself! Maybe then I can become the Spider Solitaire queen!
Sometimes it feels like I hemorrhage money owning a car, especially with repair costs. Nonetheless I love my baby and it’s worth every penny to keep him in shape!
I had some close calls with deer on my drive home from work, which gave me some traumatic flashbacks to my accident last year. I don’t want to hate deer, but they aren’t exactly doing themselves any favors.
I’m trying to wake up earlier in the morning, but I’m struggling with the “going to bed early” part. Who needs sleep anyways?
I prefer using vidalia onions when I cook cause the fumes aren’t as potent compared to other strains. However I only had yellow onions on hand, which are the worst when it comes to making me cry. And it was veggie prep night, which meant using most of them.
My poor sister trying to comfort me after I botched the hell out of the spinach artichoke dip. At least now I know putting aged cheese in the oven is an awful mistake!
Some days I’m a cooking master. Others I forget to set the timer and overcook the spaghetti.
I tried out using one of those handled graters (is that what they’re called?) and near grated my thumb off. Maybe I should stick to the classic cheese grater.
