Same situation here. Sponsors on decals are the vast majority of our revenue associated with Rocket League and outpace skin revenue share. Naming rights would be significant as well. The potential to lose those opportunities would be devastating to sustainability in this game.
Not commenting whether this is true or not But I will say, our naming/decal partners are the ONLY reason that we've managed to stay in RL It is not currently sustainable otherwise. Believe G2 effectively said the same? This change would make securing those partners harder
Seriously, when do we as a community collectively come together to boycott or call for significant change? Because nobody can say that these decisions are intelligent or in the best interest of our esport.
Decal wise hearing that there wont be any sponsors allowed on them for the 2025 Season.
There's a handful of orgs wanting to confirm their stay or enter for the 2025 Season but still waiting on Epic Games to communicate to see if these orgs will have decals and get into the monetization program for next year. Frustrating really hope it gets sorted with the season…
