As much as I despise the Saudi regime, this is just a projecting cube, not a "model of the Holy Kaaba". If there is anything objectionable here, it is that such extravagant parties are being thrown while Gaza is being starved and annihilated.
Saudi Disgraced Islam with This This is the opening of Riyadh's entertainment season in Saudi Arabia this year. They had a model of the Holy Kaaba where they displayed images of singers and dancers.
Prof. Abdullahi An-Na`im, against the idea of an Islamic state: It will necessarily use force to encourage religious behavior and discourage irreligious behavior, interfering with human freedom, which is at the heart of God's relationship with the individual.
All three statements are true at the same time

Bangladesh is currently in turmoil. Back in 1971 when the nation was formed, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, considered the leader of the freedom movement, was not in the country - he was in jail in Pakistan. And it was a former lover of Bhutto who was able to secure his release. A…
Beyond being on their knees, the Palestinians that Shekhar is asking to genuflect are buried under rubble. This piece is not just brazenly callous but demonstrates a complete ignorance of the Muslim world and how solidarities have worked and not worked historically.
If the Palestinians care about Indian support, they first need to go politely down on their knees to Pakistan, its seasonal friends like Turkey, Iran and the OIC, and beg them to de-hyphenate them from Kashmir… My #NationalInterest theprint.in/national-inter…
"I thought those fighting hard for peace in Gaza would deserve it." Toshiyuki Mimaki, the Japanese anti-nuclear campaigner whose group, Nihon Hidankyo, won the Nobel Peace Prize, says he was surprised they won the award instead of people working to stop Israel’s war on Gaza.
As we watch Palestinians being burned alive by Israel tonight, I remembered this interview with Israeli philosopher & professor, Yeshayu Liebowitz. I urge you to watch this full interview. “That is your future prophecy.”
All true. When he was running for the Presidency he was petrified that this pic would go public and wreck his chances. He made sure by pleading with some present to keep it hidden. Early signs of the scumbaggery to com!.
These are photos of Obama at a Palestinian community dinner in Chicago seated at a table with Edward Said, Ali Abunimah and Rashid Khalidi. The latter have both attested to his betrayal and how Obama used to always attend events in their community. In 1999, Abunimah introduced…
