Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: لَا يَرْقُبُوْنَ فِيْ مُؤْمِنٍ اِلًّا وَّلَا ذِمَّةً ۗ وَاُ ولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْمُعْتَدُوْنَ "They do not observe toward a believer any pact of kinship or covenant of protection. And it is they who are the transgressors." (QS. At-Tawba 9: Verse 10)
