Then our breakouts- led by Pete, Rosa, Frankie, Shiv, Marie, Gaby, Anisa & Naomi… The engagement & enthusiasm from delegates was outstanding, as we moved through partnerships, career, ethics, advocacy & research. Finally, what the next 5 years could bring.

Reception have been learning about different celebrations. For Ramadan and Eid. We gave each child a delicious date to take home. Then for Nowruz and made our own version of Sabzeh. We also learnt about Holi and Easter making Easter nests and having a 3D shape Easter ‘egg’ hunt.

Happy 90th Birthday Dr Krishnan Guru-Murthy! He's at work today as usual, in the NHS, where he must surely by now be the longest serving Consultant Radiologist on record. He became an NHS doctor when he arrived in the UK in 1962 and was made a consultant in the early 1970s. Here…

Tonight, I’ve come close to tears whilst apologising to patients for the standards of care we are able to provide. In my 22 years of being an A&E Dr, I’ve never seen things so bad. It’s the same everywhere. I just hope patients know fault lies with politicians not NHS staff.

Today some racist on #MedTwitter UK is debating whether their colleagues who trained elsewhere I.e IMG should be given the same privilege or preference when it comes to training posts. First off, if you are worried about competition then find another career.
