When you go through a disappointment, you could be upset, bitter, but when you overflow with hope, you know that what was meant for harm, God is turning to your advantage. Weeping may endure for a night, but you know joy is coming.
God wouldn’t have given you the promise, He wouldn’t have put that dream in your heart, if He didn’t have a way to make it happen.
It’s easy to doubt; it’s easy to give up on dreams. Doubters are a dime a dozen. God is looking for people that have a made-up mind, people that are convinced, people that overflow with hope, people that believe when the odds are against them, when they don’t see a way.
God knows what He’s doing. He has you in the palm of His hand. He may not do it the way you had planned, but where He’s taking you is better than you’ve imagined.
God is not finished. He wouldn’t have let you get in that difficulty if He wasn’t going to bring you out. Suddenly the waters will part, suddenly the winds will shift in your favor, suddenly the opposition will go away, suddenly the right people will show up.
Don't try to understand everything that happens along the way. God works in mysterious ways. If you’re trying to figure everything out, you’re going to get frustrated. There are things you’re not supposed to understand; that’s what faith is all about.
Don’t put your happiness on hold until everything works out. This day is a gift. Enjoy your life while God is working.
When you’re at rest, you’re in faith. When you’re at rest, you know God’s in control, you know all things are going to work for your good, you know that what He started He will finish.
If you take care of people, then God will take care of you!
