These night views from @Sen's Nadir camera are jaw-droppingly awesome.

We've been fine-tuning our views of Earth at night from our cameras on the ISS. On 12 November, we captured dazzling city lights as the Space Station flew over the Middle East. ✨

"Moongrazer" I captured the International @Space_Station making a flyby of the #Moon this morning! - Just days after it made a close flyby of Jupiter from my location. I think it might be time to buy a lottery ticket... Gorgeous orange hue to the solar arrays this time around,…

.@NASA and @SpaceX are now targeting Wednesday, Oct. 23, for the departure four #Crew8 members as weather conditions improve off the coast of Florida. blogs.nasa.gov/spacestation/2…

This is an extraordinary photo. Congrats to @tw__astro for all the hard work to get the shot!

"Passers-by" After hours of planning and a good stroke of cosmic luck, I present the International Space Station #ISS making a flyby of #Jupiter! You can even see the Galilean moons. Lost for words with how this turned out - I hope you like it just as much as I do! 1/4

A real-time view of the @Space_Station from the ground - my best capture to date using my 16" scope, and very similar to the view at the eyepiece. It's incredible just how much detail can be seen at over 500km/312mi distant when conditions are optimal. What a beauty!

Just received word that @astro_Pettit will reach 400 cumulative days in space on October 11th. Only 6 other American astronauts have reached it. And each year, more people will enter space, at increasingly diverse ages and nationalities, for longer times. Bright future.

Very good to see Suni & Butch's ride home, safely docked to the Space Station now for the next 6 months. So much work to do up there. Well done @SpaceX & @NASA 4K video: @sen

The lens used below arrived on the ISS recently. @astro_Pettit and I have been having fun taking handheld shots of city lights at night with it. The f2 and high ISO (25600) have made it possible. It was also helpful for taking shots of both Starliner and Polaris Dawn re-entry.

From orbit, Dubai looks like it has glowing streets of gold. Palm Island (second photo) sparkles like a cosmic jewel. I have only been transient through the airport; I hope someday to pay it a proper visit. Nikon Z9, 200mm f2, 1/320 sec, ISO 25600.
