Planetmint is a quite natural extension to IPFS as it functions a "sharded", distributed, application and database service. Scales pretty well and offers powerful funtions for data availability proofs.
The upcoming days I will introduce the most interesting aspects of @Planetmint_io, the evolution of BigchainDB into a modular metadatabase blockchain on top of @Tendermint The name gives a hint about its interoperability with @IPFS by sharing InterPlanetary Linked Data (IPLD).
