Helping plant the Forbes CSD trial today. Last variety so hopefully will have it finished before the storm on the other side of the Jemalong range 🤞.

Picking the Forbes CSD cotton trial today 👍. Been picking for about week at Forbes & so far the results have been strong.

Amazing what the flood waters wash into fields. Disappointing to see the canola end up this way.

We’ve had record droughts followed by record floods and now this! We have control over one of these three devastating impacts on crop production. What is your spray drift strategy this summer?

Might need a new segregation for this wheat come harvest FAW1 (flood affected wheat)

After 4days isolated by 1.5m floodwater we ran out of things to do so we converted a wheat field into a ski lake believe it or not there is an 8T wheat crop under there somewhere #Forbesfloods

Ignoring the growth stage and overall state of the crop (😉), #Mateno is performing admirably under the highest possible pressure in this field. Not hard to pick the missed strip.

Always appreciative of all the aerial operator’s helping to get the jobs done particularly in this challenging year 👍.

Illabo (LHS) with Flanker volunteer (RHS) in Flanker stubble from 2021. Flag emergence, had Z33 teb spray.

A few aphids getting about in the central west, but plenty of good guys too. Evidence of parasitism in most crops.
