You don't need to be a genius to understand that to train a model, you need lots of data. ChatGPT was training on the internet. How would Figma be able to release this without training on existing apps? Today's "AI" basically reproduces what they've been trained on. No magic
Don't blindly trust AI benchmarks. GPT-4o is much, much superior to Claude 3.5 Sonnet for our use case. It's embarrassing how bad Claude's 3.5 was on our tests. Do your evaluation, ideally using a static prompt with expected output to compare and decide on different models.

It makes no sense for me to pay for Github Copilot, ChatGPT, Raycast AI, Perplexity AI, and so forth.. I hope we'll eventually have a single Assistant who will be my own assistant and who I can plug in anywhere I want. It should have memory, it should know my stuff

Learning how to use LangChain was a good exercise, but there is no point in using it with OpenAI now that they have the Assistant API. I refactored a 150 LOC function into one with 25 lines that does the same thing. 🤯
