Too true. @MayorJD has been on our picket lines time and time again (not just the high-profile country-wide strikes but cleaners and outsourced catering staff too) and stood strong with us to save ticket offices. There is no other choice for the North East!

🚨 We've just released a major investigation with the BBC which shows how COP28 president and UAE national oil company CEO, Sultan Al Jaber, sought to lobby on fossil fuel deals during meetings with foreign governments about the UN climate summit.
For every £1 BP spent on low carbon investments, they invested £11 in fossil fuels and gave £9 to shareholders. Why are ordinary people paying for the cost of living crisis whilst oil giants continue to get rich quick? We need public ownership and a just transition.
