Sad day in the scouting community. Plenty of txts and calls about him to start the day today. Shawzie always made the pre game scout room a good place to be, he made me laugh my ass off often. My condolences to his family. Too damn young.
Sad news. Former #CBJ scout Andrew Shaw, who mined the OHL for future NHLers Josh Anderson, Marc Methot, Dalton Prout and others, has died. He worked most recently for Edmonton. Shaw, 58, was quick with a smile, had a hearty laugh and counted scores of friends throughout hockey.
