This is such a disingenuous argument I see people make all the time. The legit fighters facing less skilled guys aren’t making $20M, aren’t making $1M, aren’t making $100K. When you command the sort of purses Jake is getting, people expect it not to be a glorified exhibition.
“Legitimate” fighters are indeed fighting cab drivers, construction workers…etc. Go look at who your favorite fighters were fighting in their 8-12 pro fights… odds are very few were full time fighters. And many of those are/were not as good as the “MMA” fighters Jake has…
