Sam and Joe raving about Miller's check of Tanev. But, it was Miller's carelessness that allowed Tanev to sneak behind him in the first place.

Lots of pressure by Kraken. But NYR pretty much keeping Seattle along the periphery. No slot threats against Quick.

THIS is what I want. Notice how CK took the puck deep and held it in the corner whilst his mates changed. I get so angry whenever NYR dumps the puck and changes five... ceding control to the enemy.

Pond hockey. Up and back. Up and back. No real checking. No real resistance in the neutral zone.

Mika too slow. Being beaten to the puck and even when he is there first, he's being challenged.

That said, Kraken aren't seeing much resistance going the other way.

Rangers able to move the puck through neutral ice with velocity.

Unfathomable stupidity down two skaters. Three Blueshirts left the front of the crease to chase the puck behind Igor's goal line. WHO TEACHES THAT?

Why? THREE Rangers went behind the goal line to chase the puck, leaving Igor unguarded in front. THAT WAS STUPID! Just stay in front and let SJ gather the puck from behind.

Behind by two goals late, Sharks are forced into pressing, which explains why NYR able to zoom with the puck through the neutral zone unfettered. Contrast P1, when NYR faced an obstacle course mid-rink.

Is this the first time NYR has taken a lead after falling behind 1-0 this season?

Of course, a four-on-three does not similarly bode well for NYR. Toll-gating punition for Schneider.

Four on four should favor NYR as it makes it more difficult for SJ to smother the Blueshirts.

After NYR took two minors for blatant arm-wraps last game, you'd think Jones would not replicate the naughtiness.

NYR is getting older. At least, they're behaving like an older team.

Common theme for this group this season. Lack of urgency.

Safe to say NYR outworked by the visitors in P1.

Sharks forcing NYR to really work hard just to get the puck through the neutral zone.

Takes 12 minutes into P1 for NYR to manifest their first odd-man rush.

Sharks with the hustle edge by a wide margin. Rangers look as if they're skating on sandpaper.

Took a minute and 58 seconds before any Ranger touched the puck in the SJ end of the rink.
