Our Officers may look like we did here in 1907 this month. As part of a “No Shave November” effort Officers can donate $100 to the “Hingham Veterans In Need Fund” and grow a beard. The Fund is for emergency food, fuel & shelter for Veterans & surviving spouses in need. #NoShave

We are deeply saddened to share that retired Police Chief, Joachim-Ingo Borowski has passed away. Chief Borowski proudly served our community for 38 years. He was also a Marine Corps Veteran and served in the Korean War.

TRAINING notice. The regional Metro-SWAT team will be training in Hingham in 2 places today (9/25). In the morning we’ll be at Wompatuck State Park. This afternoon on Howe St. SWAT vehicles & equipment are used in this training which will end at 3pm. #hingham

A 3 car crash yesterday on Rte. 228 sent 4 people to the hospital with (non-life threatening) injuries. A northbound SUV crossed over center line & struck a van (which rolled over). SUV then struck a southbound SUV. Driver who crossed into oncoming lane was not wearing seatbelt.
