Devastated to hear that David has passed. I’ll never forget our long and intense discussions about ERES, COPII and Sec16. As a PhD student, I had the opportunity to invite a guest speaker and he was the first speaker I ever invited for a guest seminar. He will be deeply missed
Very sad to learn of the death of David Stephens (@David_S_Bristol). He was a fantastic cell biologist, with whom I worked closely on a trafficking review early in my time at JCS. An amazing supporter of bioRxiv right from the beginning, a great scientist, and a lovely guy.
