Our neurofeedback experiment to manipulate induced hallucinations is published in @CommsBio 🥳 Successful regulation of network dynamics increases sensitivity to hallucination induction and changes brain activity 🧠🎛️ Work with @OlafBlankeLab @dvdevill doi.org/10.1038/s42003…

This. It is not about disregarding the concerns of “regular people”. Mostly everyone was better off under democratic policies. It is all about misinformation and controlling the narrative

If you want to understand what's happening, forget about "the economy" and immigration and all that. This is happening all over the world, among people who think that others are *unjustly* living better than they are - even while they themselves are living well.

Many will endure hardships. For me (and committed colleagues), it means the struggle to defend science + counter antiscience forces becomes more complicated/daunting. This time we’ll need better support from the societies, college presidents, elected leaders who care. Tough times

ATM very happy I didn't move to America. Like I said yesterday it absolutely does not matter if you are catering to people's needs (including the US economy being much better) if all they hear is a sea of misinformation.
