When I saw this plaque in Llangrannog 2 years ago it made me even more adamant there should be a Cranogwen statue. The man who visited once had a plaque, and the woman who had lived there and accomplished so much in her day was nowhere to be found - until now! Diolch @women_welsh
When Sir Edward #Elgar was on holiday in Llangrannog in August 1901 he stayed next door to the Pentre Arms. His 'Introduction and Allegro for String Orchestra' was inspired by the sound of a group of people singing in the distance.
