If the military is allowed to get away with 4 state executions, they will continue to execute other political prisoners on death row, who have been wrongfully accused and sentenced without a fair judicial process. Effective action would be more valuable than condolence statements

The #Myanmar military meets the legal definition of terrorist organisation under international and Myanmar law. It’s time UN member states designate and treat it as such. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar #MyanmarMilitaryTerrorists

The illegal #Myanmar junta is fooling no one. These 4 men were summarily executed after being denied the right to fair trial & sentenced in military courts by judges selected by the military. This makes a mockery of justice.#WhatsHappeningInMyanmar reuters.com/world/asia-pac…

“What makes these executions especially revolting, however, is the military’s blatant attempt to give them the appearance of judicial legitimacy, though the military court was a sham, a mockery of justice, fairness and due process," says @SpecialCouncil specialadvisorycouncil.org/2022/07/un-and…

BREAKING:   Multiple sources said that Myanmar Military Junta is preparing to EXECUTE 41 political prisoners.   As more than 110 political prisoners have been sentenced to death since last year's coup and the junta didn’t care about any statements, anything could happen.

The sad and shocking news from Myanmar must be a reminder to the world that things will not go back to “normal” under the murderous regime. No one should think that peace and democracy can be restored unless the military chiefs are held accountable.
