So excited to delve deeper into methods pathology can use to (entice), train, and retain future pathologists. Would love to hear your thoughts on the matter! #TheFutureOfPathology

Each will work on their own theme; for example, @HeartPathology is focusing on how to train and retain the next generation of pathologists, while @JMGardnerMD will tackle how we can raise the profile and improve the perception of the field!

Well, it certainly has been a year to remember... I wanted to take a moment and shoutout to my magnificent colleagues and outstanding pathology residents at @MUSCpathology I could not have asked for a better group to finish out my final year of medical training! Thanks y’all!

We got to push this. Puuuuuuush.......

With the inc in both # & complexity of cancer diagnoses, combined with the anticipated shortage of pathologists in the upcoming future, it’s imperative we focus efforts on recruiting, training, & retaining future pathologists- from undergrad all the way to retirement. Thoughts?
