The weirdest part about this is that in Michigan you can check a box at the top of the ballot to vote a straight ballot for either dem or republican. And they didn’t? They didn’t do the easiest thing?
The NC governor race had fewer votes than the presidential race as of today's count from NBC. The same downballot anomaly exists there. Total president: 5,639,097 Total governor: 5,544,451 Difference: -94,646
I did look at the PA numbers. My numbers were similar with NBC as the source. Looking at downballot numbers and comparing with the Trump win. Trump won by 148,186 There were 71,920 fewer votes for Senator than Pres There were 216,706 fewer votes for House than Pres
I just have a hard time believing that so many Republicans voted for Trump, but didn't bother to vote for the Republican Senator. In fact, they didn't bother to vote for anyone else. Just Trump. 40 thousand people!
