Shaken by the news that 60% of Kerala college students suffer from depression since the outbreak of #Covid19: timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/thiruvana… These anxious kids, fearful for their health & future, are being pressed by the state Govt to take exams offline. Give them a break, @CMOKerala!
I’m overwhelmed by messages from unvaccinated Kerala university students, protesting scheduling of offline examinations during the #pandemic. I have taken it up directly with Hon @KeralaGovernor but the StateGovt is so far unmoved. I request @CMOKerala to rethink.
The same is true of Calicut University & Kerala Technological University. Our administrators should be more sensible, but otherwise @KeralaGovernor should intervene & help save lives. Crowded exam halls are simply dangerous to students as #Covid cases mount daily. @CMOKerala
